IRONBAY DATA / 01

Custom data products

The information you need. In a form you can use.

Give your AI systems and business teams a consistent foundation for a specific decision. We turn specialist sources and business information into structured, documented data products shaped around your workflow.

01 / TANGIBLE DELIVERABLES

What you receive.

A defined deliverable that your analysts can inspect, your teams can use and your systems can interpret. Coverage, fields and delivery are agreed around the task.

A dataset built for the task

Agreed records, stable identifiers, consistent units and relevant attributes. For example: product specifications, pricing observations, research findings or operational records.

Definitions and source evidence

A field dictionary, inclusion criteria, observation dates and source references. Missing values and uncertainties are visible, so users know what each record can support.

A report your team can work with

A client workspace with a report tailored to the brief, relevant filters and agreed table or chart views. CSV, Excel and PDF outputs support analysis and internal circulation.

A clear handover

A walkthrough of coverage, quality checks and intended use. Structured files provide a starting point for your AI workflow; database or API delivery can be scoped to your environment.

02 / FROM BRIEF TO USE

A comparable product dataset for a distributor.

The brief
Sales needs to compare suitable components across suppliers. Finance needs prices on a consistent basis. An AI quotation assistant needs the same specifications and evidence.
The delivery
A product table with supplier IDs, pressure ratings, materials, unit prices, currencies, price dates and source references. A comparison report highlights missing specifications and pricing conditions for review.
In the workflow
Sales prepares a shortlist, finance checks the commercial assumptions, and the AI assistant retrieves the relevant records with their source context. A specialist approves the final selection.

03 / ACROSS YOUR BUSINESS

For the teams making decisions. And the systems behind them.

The brief determines the product. These examples show how the same approach supports different teams and the AI tools they work with.

Executive & strategy

Compare opportunities on the same basis.

Receive a market evidence pack with agreed segments, coverage, indicators and source dates. Strategy teams can compare expansion scenarios, while an AI research assistant draws on the same defined facts.

Finance & procurement

Bring clarity to cost comparisons.

Receive a structured view of supplier quotes, units, currencies, terms and validity dates. Finance can review assumptions consistently, and an internal assistant can retrieve the evidence behind a comparison.

Sales & revenue

Prepare a better-informed shortlist.

Receive product, account or opportunity records organised around your qualification criteria. Sales teams inspect fit and gaps; AI assistants use the documented fields to prepare research and briefing drafts.

Marketing & insights

Build a defensible market view.

Receive a category and competitor dataset with consistent attributes, positioning evidence and observation dates. Analysts explore segments, and AI tools use the same context to support campaign planning.

For your people

A readable report, filters and exportable tables make the information useful in planning, analysis and day-to-day decisions. Definitions and source notes travel with the data.

For your AI systems

Stable IDs, explicit field meanings and source references give your retrieval and agentic workflows usable inputs. The data product supplies the context; your application defines how it is used.

04 / A FOCUSED FIRST ENGAGEMENT

Start with one question your team needs to answer.

  1. 01

Choose the decision, users and required coverage.

  2. 02

Agree a small sample, field definitions and acceptance criteria.

  3. 03

Deliver the prepared product, then define any ongoing updates.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Can you combine our data with external information?

Yes. An engagement can combine your authorised internal records with agreed external sources. We define identifiers, source coverage and access before preparation so the resulting records have a clear meaning.

Does every project need an AI integration?

No. A report and structured exports can be the complete deliverable. The same data can support an AI integration when the use case and delivery requirements are defined.

Is this a one-off dataset or a maintained service?

Either can be agreed. A first project can deliver a prepared dataset. If recurring updates add value, we define a maintained service with a specific scope and refresh cadence.
